U.S. Representative Bobby Jindal (R—LA) is a spectacularly talented an accomplished man, and he is only 36 years old so far. But now the legend of Bobby Jay adds new luster with the latest chapter. As reported in the local Lousiana website Daily Report:

Jindal delivers baby —— his own

U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal delivered his third child in his Kenner home early this morning. Supriya Jindal woke up in the middle of the night with contractions, a few days before she was set to deliver. The Jindals got ready to go to the hospital, but it became obvious the baby was set to arrive. Jindal called 911 and asked for an ambulance, but before the paramedics could arrive, Slade Ryan Jindal was born at around 3:25 a.m. Tuesday. Jindal delivered the baby boy without help from paramedics, says spokesman Trey Williams. "Bobby had been there for the birth of both of his children, so he just reflected back to what happened then," Williams says. After Slade Ryan was delivered, Jindal called a doctor, who recommended putting the baby in his mother's arms and tying off the umbilical cord with a shoelace. Slade and his mother are doing well and resting in a local hospital.
