Journos can't get the facts straight
John Podhoretz skewers the description of the Libby case (which is riddled with errors) given by the head of the Columbia School of Journalism. Tom Maguire shreds the Neil Lewis account of the case in the New York Times for the same reason. Tom also wonders when the Times will get around to informing their readers that three of its own stable or reporters are likely witnesses in this case.
How is it possible that in this high profile case journalists and their professors still cannot get the basic facts straight?
Maybe because it is such a stupid little matter at issue, it so defies logic that a key official should have been put through so much trouble and expense to defend against these idiotic charges.
