Our thoughts and prayers are with AT associate editor Rick Moran, who has been ordered evacuated from his house near the Fox River in Illinois. The one story house is expected to be the home of about four feet of water by breakfast, and is unlikely to survive the ordeal.

Rick will go to Ohio, and may well stay there. Obviously it will be some time before he is able to apear here again. Right now, there are more important matters to attend to. We wish him a safe journey and wish everyone a speedy recovery from a terrible disaster that is affecting many other victims.
