The candidate of change tries to buy support in early states

AP reports:

Barack Obama's political action committee contributed $128,000 from July through September to local candidates and political organizations in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, key early states in the race for the presidential nomination.

Several recipients of the money have endorsed Obama's presidential bid.

Details of the contributions were contained in a report filed with the Federal Election Commission on Thursday by Obama's Hopefund political action committee. The PAC also contributed $240,000 to congressional candidates across the country.
There's nothing illegal or scandalous about this. Hillary is a great practitioner of this spreading of the green.

But isn't this the old tired politics of bribery? I thought Obama's campaign was built on a fresh new approach to politics. Guess not. Just another cyncial pol.
