Look who's calling for interfaith dialogue

A Jordanian Institute that drafted and sponsored a highly-publicized "interfaith" letter signed by many prominent Islamic scholars addressed to Pope Benedict affirming religious freedoms and human rights has been found also issuing fatwas calling for death for Christian reverts and Muslim apostates. Publicly criticized last week by an Australian Anglican cleric, the Institute's fatwas have suddenly disappeared. What might be the implications for international "interfaith" dialogue?
