Obama's White House court

According to this column in the Indianapolis Star, Sen. Obama isn't thinking about what color the drapes will be in the Oval Office, rather he is pondering whether the basketball court he is going to have constructed inside the White House in 2009 will be of the full or half-court variety.

More instructive than Obama's White House court plans, though, are his thoughts on the NCAA tournament and his own bracket competition. As one of the commentators following the story points out, Obama told a Hoosier listening audience during a radio interview that he had Indiana winning two games in the tourney and also has North Carolina winning the entire tournament. Yet if Obama had Indiana winning two games, he had to have had them getting by North Carolina in the second round.

Perhaps he had his bracket confused with Rev. Wright's, though please don't think that Rev. Wright's bracket was nothing more than a suggestion for his own - in no way did Rev. Wright really influence Sen. Obama's picks. Either that or the rest of us have "untrained" eyes when it comes to studying other people's brackets.
