Leander (TX) school named after graduate killed in Iraq

This is a fascinating story when you consider that it probably would never happen in most Blue states, at least I don't think it would. Here's what the school board president said:
"He was the first of our graduates to die in the war on terror. This was the ideal way to honor him, the military and all the people who protect our freedom."
So, while folks in Berkeley protess Marine recruiters; while Greg Mitchell at Editor & Publisher gleefully chronicles every suicide of a vet, here's what's happening in a small Texas town. What a contrast.
