Profiteering off the Obama victory at the NYT

The increasingly desperate financial straits of the New York Times Company have apparently driven it to what the left likes to call "price gouging" or "profiteering." The paper is offering copies of its November 5 edition with the Obama victory headline for a mere $14.95 -- ten times the normal price.
Obama victory

Obama enthusiasts are, in the company's view, apparently sheep lining up for a shearing.

I remember media outrage over price gouging in the wake Hurricane Katrina when people offered ice for a similar multiple of its ordinary price. Somehow I suspect the NYT charging what it thinks the market can bear will trigger similar outrage.

To be fair, the price "includes the full newspaper with a resealable plastic envelope. FREE Ground shipping within the Continental United States."

Such a deal!
