Dumbing down schools in the UK

Schools on both sides of the Atlantic continue to remove serious subjects and substitute touchy-feely and politically correct subjects. From the UK, the biggest "reform" in decades is proposed that would add "nurturing pupils' personal skills, with a greater focus on children's health, wellbeing and personal development" at the expense of "history and geography lessons."

Read the article in the UK Independent and weep for our British cousins (and our schools too, where this nonsense is rampant). But don't worry: in China and India they will still be learning the hard subjects.
