Behind the scenes at Jindal's response

Bobby Jindal's microphone was hot (an audio feed was available to the press) prior to his response to President Obama Tuesday night. He knew this, and proceeded to reveal interesting aspects of his state of mind just before going live. Nothing scandalous at all, but nevertheless, painting a more complex picture of his performance, in which so many were disappointed.

WAFB TV in Baton Rouge, a CBS affiliate, prepared a very interesting report on Jindal's speech, going into the specifics of his advisors, and what they told him, in addition to playing clips from the hot mic.  Anyone concerned with understanding Bobby Jindal's future should probably invest a few minutes and watch the clip from Channel 9 in Baton Rouge.
