Measured statement on global warming from NASA

For the eve of Earth Day, NASA published an unusually measured statement on global warming.

The April 21 issue of NASA's popular Astronomy Picture of the Day was about global warming and shows a heat map that may be representative of future trends. If accurate the predicted rise could result in 'much' polar ice melting.

However, the write-up acknowledged that current temperatures are cool by long-term (100 million year) standards, and only states that the IPCC has concluded that humans are at fault rather than repeating the assertion that humans are definitely at fault.

This was the least-biased statement on the subject that I've seen from NASA in a long time.
