Second Opinion on Universal Health Care: Do No Harm

Universal Health Care Reform needs a complete examination from an unbiased medical doctor. I have practiced medicine as a board certified family doctor for over 40 years and I am now retired and have no financial stake in the decision process used to select the best medical care system for America.

Based on my extensive experience, I would caution those who are in Congress to ignore the rush to reform pressure that is being promoted. As a doctor, I know that it is serious malpractice to diagnose, treat, or prescribe for a patient without doing a complete exam and reading the patient's chart!

Congress is planning to vote on a health care reform bill that has not been read and understood. This is Congressional Malpractice.

Most members of Congress do not have the knowledge and experience necessary to design and operate a good medical care system. To complicate matters further, turning such a system over to government bureaucrats to administer, is destined to hurt the patient and the taxpayer.

Do not rush to reform  . . . get a second opinion.
