Brave new world of genetic testing

Just when I thought that the cutting edge of medicine was going to be nanotechnology and genetic engineering, reports tell us that inherited diseases are not only on the decline but some are almost eradicated.

Ever since the human genome project and the development of genetic testing, more and more people are now electing to be screened or tested for some 300 plus inheritable diseases.

However, the further I explored this topic on contemporary genetics the more it became clear that the genetic testing companies are very eager to move into the marketing arena for IQs, athleticism, and the likes.

Genetic testing is now underway for rewriting history: Lincoln, Tut, and perhaps next - the Shroud of Turin.

Is our politics dominant or recessive?
