Mojave Cross stolen

Remember the Mojave Desert War Memorial?  The one the ACLU wanted to tear down?  On April 28, the Supreme Court saved it, handing Veterans a victory, but as of last night (May11th), it's gone.  Stolen.  Someone cut the bolts, felled the cross, and disappeared.  The theft adds to the lunacy playing out across the nation-kids being asked to remove patriotic clothes; a teacher deeming a flag-painting offensive; seniors being told to pray in silence....  It's as if the Left is seeing how far they can push it.

Kelly Shackelford, CEO of Liberty Institute, put it in perspective, saying: "This is an outrage akin to desecrating people's graves.  It's a disgraceful attack on the selfless sacrifice of our veterans.  We will not rest until this memorial is re-installed."

Thomas Tradewell, VFW Commander, added: "This was a legal fight that a vandal just made personal to 50 million veterans, military personnel and their families.  To think that anyone can rationalize the desecration of a war memorial is sickening, and for them to believe they won't be apprehended is naïve."

Personal.  Sickening.  Disgraceful.  Vets symbolize what is good in America.  The thief who did this represents what is bad.  And there is no middle.  The war in America is an age-old war and must be fought with old tactics.  Truth and facts are weapons of the right.  They must be deployed with vigor against the Left.
