An understanding of the power of laughter and wit in politics dates back in Western culture to the Psalms.

"All they that see Him laugh Him to scorn; they shoot out their lips, and shake their heads..."(Psalms 22:7)

More recent testimony to its force come from such sages as Mark Twain who noted.."The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter" and also stated "Before the assault of laughter nothing can stand." 

A quote based on Rudyard Kipling's words attests.." Scorn and derisive laughter are the sire and dam of change....

What we must do now to dethrone the present agent of unwanted and unneeded change is mount a laughter campaign that uses scornful and derisive laughter as the agent of downfall of the very one who brings us such disastrous change.

What I propose is nothing more than a simple replay of the many patently false, ludicrous and otherwise noxious lies and misrepresentations of our current occupant of the White House to the accompaniment of laughter. These can be embellished by some videography that scrolls the facts which give the Obama statement the lie. You-tube- look out !!!

May the laughter fit the quote- whether a hearty belly laugh in the face of a whopper so obvious an 8 year old can tell Obama is lying, or a sarcastic sneering cackle that cuts through the politicians word shell game and reveals the underlying deceit.

There is a ready stock of Obama quotes deserving of such laughter that we can and must use now. What is more, as the campaign proceeds,  there doubtless will be more ready may fodder for the hoot, howl and " nyuk nyuk nyuk " his pronunciations so rightly deserve.
