Election Impact: Supreme Court Justice Nominations and Roe vs. Wade

One of the most important issues of this presidential election is that at least one Supreme Court justice -- and potentially three of them -- will be nominated and given a life term on the Supreme Court.  This has the potential to swing the court to either a conservative majority or a liberal socialist one.  Supreme Court nominees will impact the very fabric of America's way of life for decades to come, just as Roe vs. Wade has shaken the very foundation of America's core values for the last four decades.

Kyle-Anne Shiver wrote an article for American Thinker prior to the last election titled "Obama's Culture of Death and the Catholic Vote."  President Obama's pro-choice record should frighten us all.  The Republican platform, on the other hand, has a well-documented pro-life record.

Aside from the moral obligation of overturning Roe vs. Wade, consider for a moment the unrealized contributions of those lost souls who were aborted during the last forty years -- over  50 million.

Now consider IQ.  While not individually specific, IQ gives an indication of occupational groups/careers that a person may develop into.  Occupations of individuals with IQ levels of greater than 120, for example, include: top civil servants; professors and research scientists; physicians and surgeons; lawyers, engineers (civil and mechanical), and schoolteachers; and pharmacists and accountants.

Statistics show that nearly 9% of the population has an IQ of 120 and above.  So do the math: nine percent of 50 million lost souls equates to over four million, five hundred thousand!  That's right -- over 4,500,000 members of all the above occupations were snuffed out.

By murdering 50 million souls, we have, as a nation, deprived ourselves of the brainpower of over 4,500,000 intellectuals -- in addition to the potential brain power of the lost souls whose IQ is high average and average -- i.e., over 30 million people -- that would have made the backbone of middle-class contributors to our society.  All that economic potential, lost forever.

America: now is the time to end this senseless massacre.  Now is the time to stop the modern-day holocaust.  Stop the murder of America's most precious resource, and extend the protection of life to include the unborn.

No one can foretell what these 50 million lost souls could have contributed to the improvement of mankind and America.  Maybe just one would have discovered the cure for cancer; maybe just one could have discovered the formula for an inexhaustible fuel source; maybe just one might have saved the lives of our precious men and women in uniform during this ongoing war on terror.

By electing conservative Republicans, including the Romney/Ryan ticket, you will choose a culture of life and the best hope for a conservative Supreme Court.

"Because a society is measured by how it treats the weak and vulnerable we must strive to build a culture of life." -George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States
