Salute to the Treepers

If you've never heard of the Treepers, that's because the media have studiously ignored the best journalism done on the Zimmerman trial. The moniker denotes a group of bloggers posting at The Conservative Treehouse whose painstaking research uncovered a conspiracy by "elements within the SPD and the Miami-Dade School District Police Department...[who] conspired to keep Martin's criminal history buried," in the words of Jack Cashill, the premier investigative journalist working the Trayvon Martin story.

Yesterday, George Zimmerman's father Robert paid tribute to the Treepers, seemingly the only people in the world unwilling to accept the manufactured fairy tale of Trayvon as an innocent, angelic child:

I have thanked Mark Omara and Don West. Now I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to you, our friends at CTH. (Waving to others)

Currently, our family is happy knowing our son no longer faces a malicious, unethical prosecution. Further, to whatever extent possible, I will attempt to hold every individual fully responsible for their actions.

Again, Thank You.

It is a scandal that all the major journalistic institutions of our country studiously ignored the facts about Trayvon Martin in an effort to script a dark national psychodrama of random white violence on innocent black children, and that it fell to a group of bloggers to uncover the truth.

I bow toward the Treepers in thanks and praise.
