A 'pep rally' without Democrats?

So where is Obama Care today?  Not good!

According to news reports, the much heralded 7 million people is very misleading.   Yes I said cynically misleading:

"A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America's health care system 'a lot better' in a Rose Garden press conference.

But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality.

Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night."

858,000 of 7 million is a pretty lousy batting average!

To say the least, Obama Care has fallen far short of its goal of insuring the uninsured!

How do I know that Obama Care fell short?   The answer is that there were no Democrats seeking reelection at the "pep rally".

Minority Leader Pelosi and Senator Durbin were there but missing from the festivities were the Senators from Arkansas, Louisiana, Alaska, North Carolina, and Colorado.

Also skipping the celebration were the Democrat candidates from Georgia, West Virginia, South Dakota, Kentucky and others.
