Legacy Media: Guard Dogs or Attack Dogs?

Officer Darren Wilson's shooting of Michael Brown has caused the legacy media guard dogs to metamorphose into attack dogs.

The legacy media devotes most of its time to serving as guard dogs protecting their masters in the White House, "Justice" Department, IRS, and other Left-Wing redoubts.  But when the need arises, as in the George Zimmerman case, these guard dogs metamorphose into attack dogs.

Officer Darren Wilson's shooting of Michael Brown created such a need.  You can bet your bottom dollar that to advance the narrative of white racism and black victimization, the guard dogs at the New York Times, the Washington Post, ABC, CBS, and NBC are now attack dogs on the prowl sniffing for racial hatred in Officer Wilson's past.  They have found nothing.  If they had caught the scent, they would have howled the news before setting off on the trail.  Instead, we have silence.

In the coming weeks, the silence will grow louder and louder until it punishes the ear.  At that point, many of the attack dogs will change back to guard dogs and skulk home to their masters..
