I’m standing on the platform, waiting for my train, when I notice this ad:

I don’t know Spanish, so I’m having trouble figuring it out.  Of course, I’m suspicious, because the only English on the ad is at the very bottom.  It reads, “Brought to you by the New York State Office for New Americans.”

Hmm.  Is this office anticipating a bunch of “new Americans” in the near future?

Then, I see the ad right next to this one:

And that’s when it hit me…

The ad on the right is a translation of the ad on the left.
