Obama Praises Cuomo for 'his faith in God'

It’s always a sobering experience to hear of someone's passing, a passing deserves condolences and so my sympathy to the Cuomo family for their loss.

There is nothing new and earth shattering about this observation, what is noteworthy here is Obama's comment validating Mario Cuomo's faith in God, as if Obama had intimate conversations with Cuomo as to his faith in God.

President Barack Obama:  Obama released a statement praising Cuomo for "his faith in God and faith in America to live a life of public service." Obama said Cuomo was a "determined champion of progressive values, and an unflinching voice for tolerance, inclusiveness, fairness, dignity, and opportunity. His own story taught him that as Americans, we are bound together as one people, and our country’s success rests on the success of us all, not just a fortunate few. http://news.yahoo.com/

I don't believe there is evidence of a personal relationship between Barack Hussein Obama and Mario Cuomo.  If such a relationship did not exist, what would move President Obama to praise the faith of this individual?  Well, well, well, don't many of us have the same curiosity about many things that come out of this president's mouth? Many of us have theories, very plausible theories for why and when he chooses to comment with such passion. He uses words and contrived emotion to convey a mood that reinforces the image he wants to project.  One that affirms a loyalty to American exceptionalism, but actually admonishes it.

In his statement about Mario Cuomo, Obama wants to convey the belief that he admires those that have faith in God because it wins him favor among a large part of the electorate.  It creates a mood that reinforces the image he wants to project.  It doesn't matter if he believes it or not or, that at a San Francisco fundraiser in 2008, Obama ripped into the hearts and souls of small town America by ridiculing them for having a strong faith.  Obama said,

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest; the jobs have been gone now for 25 years.........  And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

What matters most is he can use opportunities, even solemn ones to advance a positive persona.  He is a master at that and continues to sharpen his skills before our eyes.

The most dishonest speech in modern times about the history of race relations in America was given by Barrack Hussein Obama.  It was embarrassing to hear him speak about the hardships of the Black American slave as if he had a connection to it.  He implied his hardship is manifested in the pains his daughters will experience as descendants of a mother whose ancestors were slaves.

"I am married to a black American who carries within her the blood of slaves and slave owners - an inheritance WE pass on to our two precious daughters."

He is completely removed from the Black American story, his roots have no connection to it, but he used it to further the cause of victimhood and to promote his agenda.

These examples and so many more alert us to motivations that are inconsistent with promoting America's interest, building trust in government and unity among its people. They are vivid examples of deceit and antagonism perpetrated on the American people from the Oval Office.  But the American people are more resilient than most.  The silver lining for those of us who love our country is we will survive the darkness and deception of the Obama administration in spite of his evil motivations.  His ambition to settle the score of those who share none of his roots and to strip America of her exceptionalism will become nothing more than a blip on the timeline of America's history.
