The Self-Contradictory NY Times

The February 7th edition of the New York Times ran a piece that states in the same article:

"Representative John A. Boehner, the House speaker, arranged for Mr. Netanyahu to address Congress about Iran without informing the White House."

 and...

"Mr. Boehner’s office . . .  has said that it told the White House about the invitation shortly before it was announced"

Of course, the Times had already reported on January 30 about the advance notice given to the White House, in the form of a "Correction" tucked quietly on to the online version of the main article:

"Correction: January 30, 2015

An earlier version of this article misstated when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel accepted Speaker John A. Boehner’s invitation to address Congress. He accepted after the administration had been informed of the invitation, not before."
