How many black and Jewish presidents have we had?
Have you ever wondered how many black or Jewish presidents we've had?
Obviously, Barack Obama is black, or at least half-black; however, he never calls himself half-white, so, like Mr. Spock from Star Trek, he clearly identifies with the heritage of his father over that of his mother. But was he the first black president?
Novelist Toni Morrison believes that Bill Clinton was the first black president.
African-American men seemed to understand it right away. Years ago, in the middle of the Whitewater investigation, one heard the first murmurs: white skin notwithstanding, this is our first black President. Blacker than any actual black person who could ever be elected in our children's lifetime. After all, Clinton displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald's-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas. And when virtually all the African-American Clinton appointees began, one by one, to disappear, when the President's body, his privacy, his unpoliced sexuality became the focus of the persecution
So Morrison seems to be saying that because Clinton conformed to the worst stereotypes of black people, of jazz-loving eaters of junk food who more than dabble with sexual promiscuousness, that he himself was black, or black-like. This is not my opinion, by the way; this is the classic liberal mindset.
Now, if Hillary Clinton is elected president, will she then become the third black president? She likes to go to black churches and talk in black accents. Check out this video where she says, "Ah don't feel no ways tired. ... Ah come too far!"
So it seems, based on liberal definitions of popular culture, that we have had not one, but two black presidents, and we are possibly on the verge of a third.
Now, have we ever had a Jewish president? I ask this because Jeffrey Goldberg, the leftist reporter for The Atlantic, has said that Obama is the most Jewish President ever.
I think what many Israelis don’t understand is that Obama, from one angle of approach, is probably the most Jewish president the United States has ever had.
Why can't Israelis understand the inherent Jewishness of Obama? Every time he sides with the Palestinian aggressors, or the Iranian nuclear enrichment program, he is really thinking about Israel, right?
Obama himself made the point of mentioning Goldberg's comment last week at a liberal Maryland Synagogue, so perhaps Obama considers himself Jewish as well as black, sort of like Sammy Davis, Jr.
Now back to Hillary again. She may be not only black, but possibly Jewish as well.
Mrs. Clinton, who is Methodist, "has very fond childhood memories" of the second husband of her grandmother, Max Rosenberg, a Russian-born Jew, said Howard Wolfson, a spokesman for the first lady's Senate exploratory committee.
So perhaps Hillary considers herself part Jewish. L'chaim, and give me five, bro.
