Bernie channels Donald

It appears that Bernie Sanders, the little-known Socialist presidential front-runner, has taken it upon himself to lecture the Democrats on why they lose elections.

In a speech to the DNC, Sanders, who hails from the People’s Republic of Burlington, explained to Democratic luminaries such as Debbie Wasserman Schultz the reason why the Dems have lost the House, the Senate, and most of the nation’s state houses over the past few elections.

The reasons, according to Bernie:

• "Business as usual"

• Lack of attention to the grassroots

• Lack of "enthusiasm and excitement"

Sanders calls for "a movement which takes on the economic and political establishment, not one which is part of it" – an "unprecedented grassroots movement" that would sweep out the old guard and focus on issues that really matter to the people, among them Wall Street greed, immigration, and the economy.

I’m still trying to figure out where I’ve heard all this before.  But it seems to me that if Bernie fails to win the Democratic nod, he’d have a damn good chance with the GOP.
