Yahoo News has published a global warming scare article that will impress the scientifically illiterate. Originally posted at takepart.com, a “social justice” website that is a subsidiary of a movie production company that seeks to make “socially relevant” films, the article claims, “Climate Change Is Making the Earth Wobble.”
Wow! Now that is scary.
The article is full of misinformation about melting ice caps (never mind the growth of the Antarctic ice cap – it is banished from the article).
But the authors ignore the fact that the earth’s axis already “wobbles.” It’s called “axial precession,” and it is a 26,000 year cycle.
Don’t these warmists ever get tired of looking ridiculous? A few days ago, Senator Ted Cruz reminded us of a golden oldie:
In August 2009, then Senator John Kerry said the Arctic would be ice-free by the summer of 2013. Putting dogma before data, he was entirely wrong.
