Last night’s Democrat debate in Brooklyn was more contentious than previous matches, befitting the Brooklyn setting on the waterfront.  At one point Wolf Blitzer had to intervene to tell the candidates that the audience couldn’t hear them if they screamed at each other.  Here are some “highlights” (if that’s the word):

There was sparring over the Clinton Crime bill, with Hillary apologizing for “unintended consequences” (and ignoring the many lives saved with the decline in crime); over gun control, with Sanders citing his D-minus rating from the NRA; and especially over Wall Street.  

But Bernie Sanders once again refused to raise the question of Hillary’s unprecedented private email server and destruction of evidence, the subject of large-scale FBI investigation.  Has there ever been a presidential candidate facing a possible criminal prosecution whose opponent refused to raise any questions about it?
