Leaked DNC emails prove there’s nothing 'democratic' about the Democratic Party
I have often wondered why some people use the title "Democrat Party" and others use "Democratic Party." Who is correct?
Well just in case you were wondering yourself, here is what I found at factcheck.org:
The party traces its roots to 1792 and the anti-federalist faction led by Thomas Jefferson. The Jeffersonians called themselves "Republicans" at first, and later "Democratic-Republican." The party splintered in the late 1820s, and the faction led by Andrew Jackson in his successful presidential campaign of 1828 became the modern Democratic Party. It formally adopted the name "Democratic Party" at its convention in 1844.
With those facts in mind, let’s consider if the name truly fits.
When Wikileaks exposed the hacked DNC emails, it became obvious that the DNC was doing everything it could to push Hillary’s campaign and discredit Bernie Sanders. And the emails exposed more than just subliminal messaging to accomplish this effort; they contained overt talking points that went as far as considering third-rail issues such as race and religion to discredit Sanders’s campaign.
So when Donald Trump sarcastically invited Russia to find Hillary’s deleted “personal” emails, Democrats and their liberal media operatives saw an opportunity to spin Trump’s words into a national security issue they said disqualifies him for the office of president. The Democrats and their liberal media accomplices went into overdrive on the Trump “Russia” story to divert attention from the DNC emails – which clearly showed that the DNC rigged the outcome of the primary to favor Hillary Clinton.
Notwithstanding that Trump’s sarcasm has absolutely zero implications on national security, and that Hillary’s private server was, in fact, identified by FBI director Comey as a national security risk, it remains to be seen whether the DNC and their liberal media allies will be able to successfully hide the true “non-democratic” colors of the Democratic Party from the American public.
But one thing is certain; the leaked DNC emails prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Democratic Party is anything but democratic.
