Intrigue surrounds the Wikileaks ‘October surprise’ for Hillary

Julian Assange has promised an “October Surprise” for Hillary Clinton and was scheduled to deliver it Tuesday in London, only to cancel because of security concerns.

Julian Assange canceled a much-anticipated announcement that some believe could be the “October surprise” the WikiLeaks founder has hinted at for weeks, but the revelation could still come in a video link presentation scheduled for Tuesday on the 10th anniversary of the leaked emails clearinghouse.

Assange, 45, who has lived in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London for five years as officials in Sweden have sought him on criminal charges, cited security concerns in canceling the dramatic appearance from the building’s balcony. Supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump have said they believe the announcement will be damaging to the candidacy of Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Perhaps this is hyperventilating, but then again, in words suggesting assassination as a solution to Assange – words that should shock Americans yet passed virtually unnoticed by our media friends:

UPDATED: After canceling a planned announcement in London, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is now planning to appear via video link Tuesday morning at Wikileak’s tenth anniversary celebration in Berlin. He’s a last-minute addition to the roster of festivities taking place this week in Germany.

 

 

Wikileaks used its Facebook page to confirm that Assange would speak at the event, which takes place at 3am Eastern time.

Sources close to the event tell Heat Street that Assange may be planning to release some new information his organization has obtained about the U.S. Democratic Party. But Heat Street has yet to receive independent confirmation that Assange plans to dump information specifically on Hillary Clinton.

If Assange has campaign-killing information on Hillary, how many companies would underwrite a life insurance policy on him?  I find it extraordinary that open jokes have been made about assassinating him.  That is a sad sign of our times.
